A ruling from a long long ago...

Postby Deaths_Mask » Fri Jan 22, 2016 12:47 am

Once upon a time in the city of Silverymoon there was a house ruling... That if spellcasters were in a guild they had access to magic-item creation feats.

I was simply wondering if this House Rule could be revived is all. Though I also wonder... How many are still here that remember the old Silverymoon days...

It wasn't really a "house rule" so much as an IC-ish decision tied to resources available at the Conclave of Silverymoon. It's a rule that's not really appropriate here due to the vastly lower level of benefits provided by the various Waterdhavian magic schools to their students--none of them are as advanced or generous as the old Conclave, and even the limited availability of creation feats would be an immense outlier.

In purely OOC terms, it was also a fairly excessive benefit that complicated as much as it helped. You won't see its ilk again.
