Rumors all around Docks last night. Put a young squire and a savage in a wrestling street brawl in the middle of the road. No one knows what caused such a scene. Many on hand suggested drinking, taming, robbery..

In the end the young squire managed to win even at the loss of his pants. Claiming himself a savage in the process. Some say the first order he gave was a bath for the creature-woman.

Today in the market. Well known shopkeeper Enialas Winterschill was seen taking his new bride through town. An unknown but lovely elven young woman. No one has heard or seen the human woman he left docks with.

An elderly woman dressed in deep mourning has been seen around the local taverns, weeping and asking for help, though for what exactly no one knows.

One Professor Dolmater was found dead and partially burned in his offices in the Watchful Order. Initially thought to be some form of assault, rumor later had it that the man had many hazardous plants in his office and was likely laid to his rest by incautious handling of one.

A half-elf and a halfling were questioned regarding the man's death, but were not charged with nor found to have aided in the death.

After the posters begin going up about town about a Lord Suk'har, leaflets begin finding their way to the populace as well:
DEMANDING JUSTICE wrote:I am writing to address an egregious failure on the part of the Lords of Waterdeep.

In the not too distant past they have outlawed and banned some of the most right and good joys that a soul can experience in this plane of existence out of naught but shortsighted fear and misinformation, if not outright malice.

As legal appeals have come to no avail on the matter I, Lord Suk'har, must now take matters into my own hands to ensure that this sinful deprivation and enslavement of the populace's right to indulge in Her most succulent works ends.

My creations have seen the light of day, and I assure you they are only the most meager and tame of the wonders She has shown me how to produce. More will come, until the ban on the import of chocolate is lifted, as well as on the following spices and liquors.

(Here are listed several other illicit substances of mild narcotic nature or potential to be worked into same. Notably on the list are several key ingredients for making chocolate.)

The watch were called around to a small three storey house on one of the roads leading from Docks to Trades Ward in the very early hours of the morning. It was noted that a child was carried out, no older than perhaps six or seven years of age. Shortly after, a body wrapped in the winding sheet of the dead was carried out as well.

The city guard are mourning the loss of Widower Marlas Tampson. His young son is being cared for by relatives.

After the FCA releases chocolate from the controlled list - albeit with very strict requirements - more leaflets begin to circulate.
DEMANDING FREEDOM wrote:Nothing has changed from my earlier demands.

The Food Control Agency's pitiful attempt to return the indulgence of chocolate is an insult to Her most succulent works.

I, Lord Suk'har, hereby pledge to you - the people of Waterdeep! - to continue my work to bring you out of enslavement, and will not rest until all of Her indulgences may be enjoyed without fear of authority!

A physician is said to be gaining fame and quite a following in some part of the Docks warehouse region. The details are sketchy and seem to change depending on who is telling the story. Now, a lot of the Docks ward could be considered warehouse region, but oddly when anyone seems to ask about the exact location, no one is able to provide an actual street name or reference point.

The churches dismiss the claims as a rogue priest of unknown faith trying to make a quick gold by pretending to offer services that all but the most powerful in the truly faithful could provide. They scoff at the thought that anyone without faith magic may be privy to such abilities. Regeneration of limbs, curing of many aliment, the restoration of youth, resurrection of the long dead... and all rumored to be without the use of prayer or magic! The only detail that seems to be agreed upon is that the man (though some sources claim a woman) dresses in a long yellow robe of the kind worn in the priesthood.

In the market, rumors of a fruit so delectable and rare that its confirmed existence would threaten the balance of local trades has captured the attention of merchants and major bargainers alike. Representatives of House Adarbrent offer a ten harbor moon (equivalent of 500 gp) minimum reward simply for information regarding the fruit evidenced by proof.

Around the Trades and Dock Ward yellow parchment posters have been posted near poor houses and hard to do neighborhoods. "Darious Floatbarrel invites the fair residents of the city to join him in feast and revelry at his residence every 12th hour of each night! Bring you family, friends and loved ones. Plenty to go around, you'll have the time of your lives!"

Oddly the poster doesn't have an address or contact point, so while the offer seems too good to be true, not many residents have been able to take it up.

House Sultlue has lost a number of agents and minor members to a series of accidents and random violence over the course of the last tenday, some are beginning to whisper that the house is cursed for being responsible for the death of the Head of the Gundwynd house hold several years ago and the people are wondering if the Lords will have to step in and deal with the animosity between these two houses.

Last night fires erupted in four separate parts of the city of splendours. One of which quickly spread out of control in the Trades ward threatening several homes before it was brought under control by the noble actions of bucket bridgades.

Rumors or Actual Truth, flooded out of the small crowd that lay witness in the Grinning Lion in the very wee hours of the morning. Some say a woman of height unmeasured and a tiny small pretty looking elf were married while they ate breakfast in the company of a certain Priest Evander. Sources say she might have carried him off into the night..

A story has begun to spread out among the docks, of how a man of short stature going by the name of "One-Shot" had single handedly stopped an army of undead and devils sent by the Spider Queen herself, slaying them with nothing more than a simple touch.
