A long journey

Postby Jiriki » Mon Oct 18, 2010 12:28 pm

A poster is placed up in local bars and taverns.

"Hero's wanted. Must be capable with a bow, good with a sword and capable of silence. Ask for Jiriki at the temples of the Elven Pantheon.'

Judicos glances at the posting while making his weekly rounds of the city. Upon reading it, he first looks to his flail, hanging where his sword must hang, then over his shoulder to where his non-existant bow was hung, and finally chuckled a bit at his massive, hulking, shiny, mithril plate mail. "Guess I don't fit the bill this time!" He exclaims to no one but himself and ambles on.

"Hero's wanted. Must be capable with a bow, good with a sword and capable of silence. Ask for Jiriki at the temples of the Elven Pantheon.' The message is edited a short while later.. in the same hand it now reads,

"Hero's wanted. Must be capable with a bow, good with a sword and capable of keeping their mouths shut.. Ask for Jiriki at the temples of the Elven Pantheon.'

Callistar, owning both a bow, and a sword while being elven considered himself close enough. He had a small meeting at the temple with Jiriki offering to share his knowledge freely while out for the chance to study other places.

Genevieve is good with "swords" and "bows" if you mean "things that are not swords and bows." But she's intrigued at the idea of getting out of the city for a while (depending on what the objective is), and will approach Jiriki with further questions.

(Depending on when this is going, I might be able to swing this. I'll try to track you down, Bex.)

Tyrani sees reads this and chuckles. "Well I do own a bow..." Then with a flick of the wrist a crisp blue frosty dagger appears in her hand. "But I doubt this will pass for a sword." She drops the dagger and moves on. The dagger shatters into tiny shards and vanishes before it even hits the ground.
I am not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.

Saturday would be just fine for me on this (Although if I recall the DM is only available every other Saturday...that didn't work out great last spring when availability didn't match up.) I am good for Saturday nights even every other one, with the request for my own sanity and sleep schedule that if you are not gonna be able to make that please post it!

Thanks,
Mark
