By decree of Lord Helmsfast, patron of House Helmsfast a bounty has been placed on any and all peoples responsible to the kidnapping and ruination of his daughter, Lady Mavery Aesegi Helmsfast on her Wedding Day.

The onlookers report the man in charge was a snow elf, who used vile tactics to bring uncommon shame to both House Helmfast and her further husbands House Bladesemmer on the day of the Wedding. Kidnapping and removing her on such a grand morning.

Lord Helmsfast will take all visitors with information on this matter, and those seeking to find her. Reports of a strange crew seen taking her vessel as well. The Black Lady left port the day of her taking.

Reward for information.

(( If you have questions, something to pass on. Please get with me, or Kemian. My scedule this week will be blah. But Kemian can take your requests on this as well. ))

House Thann is saddened and outraged to hear of this affront to house Helmfast and house Bladesemmer. We have as yet no information but we pledge to make inquiry and action on your behalf to gain the safe return of your kin. Great Aunt Cassandra has given her permission for me to step away from the current affairs of the city and act as our representative for your familys' needs.

Hearing of the kidnapping, Kristoff would report to Lord Helmsfast to offer his assistance in helping recover her. He would inquire if there was already a rescue party being formed that he could make contact with and if not, he would leave his contact information so that he could be easily contacted when one formed.

Mror lives the busy life of a commoner, so normally he’d not be aware of an event affecting the nobel houses of the city. He's not an adventurer, vigilante, a bounty hunter or private investigator. He has no dealings with nobels and prefers to keep it that way, in old fashioned dwarven pragmatism.

Unfortunately in this case the blacksmith is a member of The Watch. It's not that he's a bad character or lacks sympathy, he just prefers to stay well out of the convoluted plots and machinations of the Houses. Nothing is ever simple as it seems with them, he grumbles. The city must respond though, and more bodies make it at least appear that more is happening, so he is pulled from the usual patrol of his squad through the Trade Wards to assist in the investigation. He doubts that he could possibly achieve anything that the Houses couldn't do within their own networks, but he's a dwarf with a job to do. He just hopes he won't have to set foot on a boat.

He trails the other assigned Watchmen to each site and does his best to be useful, feeling far out of his depth. He searches each site carefully for clues, listens in on interviews and watches folks reactions before conducting his own interviews by the Docks. Money buys anything there, including information on missing ships...

((Taking 10, Mror possesses +9 search, +6 sense motive and +7 gather information))

Vulfar heard about it from Mror, and decided to watch his friend's back if he was going to search around.
