A fair day for a fair

Postby Foxboy » Tue Nov 14, 2006 9:41 pm

IC: Samuel Rains, Ereshkigal Emese , and Trebor Stourm begin to keep there ears open to tales told by the bard, hoping to learn of a harvest fair of some kind.

The jovial spirit fills them and looking to enjoy such a spirit in the surroundings of a fair.

---

OOC: Hoping a DM will take pity on us and run a nice light hearted scene of us these three characters (and whoever else wants to come along) attending a town fair away from the city. You know, break the rut of scenes being nothing but killing stuff or taxing seriousness.

OOC: True enough. But harvest or winter, sam just thinks a fair right now would be rather nice.

OOOH! A snow-fest or Ice Carnival? That'd be awesome!

Kiki is a ranger

Maybe some sled races? Snowball fights, Ice fort building (ice sculptures for the artisans?) and tracking over snow fields? Ice skating, skiing, snow-shoe races?

And, if the DMs will allow, I suppose I could volunteer to run some of it?

OOC: I think it will be something in the near future, as our three characters are going on another multi session scene with Timothra as DM.

But loads of thanks ManthisFocht, we will tell you as soon as we know all 3 of the characters are free for something like this.

ice skating works for me.
And a snowball fight,
Strongest man Feats.. *Pulling the frozen ice sled*
Igloo building
Ice wall climbing. Granted some of this will have to be held OUT of the city or with the assistance of a mage to help make the ice wall.

No, for the wall climb have it timed. Quickest wins it.

The snowball fight is enclosed in the market. Last man standing scenario.

Form and prose on the Skating, and speed?

Igloo building based on sturdiness.
Time limit ofcourse.

The strongest man = a sled with the runners froze solid, (mage can refreeze each time) Pull the fully laden sled ten feet from front edge over start line to back edge over end line.

Yes it does. Its just doesnt get to violent weather. So

NO twisters,
NO sudden floods

NO extreme weather.

The spells MODERATE it to prevent city destruction.
