ERRATA: Spell Compendium

Spell - Ebon Eyes: This spell has been altered so it actually does something that makes sense. Replace the book-printed text of the spell with the following:
The subject of this spell gains the ability to see through magical darkness to a range of 60 feet. Ebon eyes does not grant one the ability to see in normal (non-magical) darkness.

Spell - Steeldance: This spell was house-ruled for easier use in play, as follows:
Steeldance
Transmutation
Level: Sor/Wiz 3
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Targets: Two bladed weapons with size equal to caster's
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

You grip the hilts of the two weapons in your outstretched hand and cast the spell. They rise and take a place on either side of you, glowing with a dim blue radiance.

The two blades hover in your square, attacking foes that come near. On your turn, each blade can make one attack at an opponent adjacent to you, with an attack bonus equal to your caster level + your relevant ability modifier (Int for wizards and Cha for sorcerers). The damage they deal is equal to the normal weapon damage + your ability modifiers. (Whether a weapon is light, one-handed, or two-handed does not affect the extra damage it deals.) The weapons are treated as magic for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction.

Your blades can be attacked with sunder or disarm attempts as if you were wielding them, and they use the above attack bonus to resolve such situations. Disarming a weapon under the effect of steeldance ends the spell for that weapon.

Focus: Two bladed weapons, such as daggers or longswords.
